Facing Problems with Staying Logged in??

The following steps might help:

OPTION 1
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools - Internet Options
3. Click on the Privacy Tab
4. At the bottom where it says 'Websites' click Edit
5. Type in: http://www.godlymatch.com/ in the address area and click Allow
6. Click OK and then OK again.
7. This should work.

OPTION 2
Please check your internet settings. This is how you do this:
Enable Cookies:
GodlyMatch.com uses cookies to identify you when you log in to our service. In order to access our site, your Web browser must accept cookies. Please be sure that your browser is accepting cookies.

Setting up cookies in Netscape:
In Netscape, select Edit | Preferences | Advanced, and make sure that "Accept all cookies" is checked.

Setting up cookies in Internet Explorer:
In Internet Explorer, select View | Internet Options | Advanced, and make sure that "Always accept cookies" is checked.

Other browsers are automatically set to accept cookies unless you manually tell the browser to reject them, or you have installed a program such as Guard Dog, Cookie Cutter or WebFree that rejects all cookies. (Some of these programs, such as Guard Dog, allow you to specify the sites from which you will accept cookies.)

OPTION 3
In IE6 click Tools - Internet Options - Privacy tab - move the slider to Medium - click OK. You'll be able to log in to GodlyMatch.com.

The following will help you get an understanding of how various features work on the website. However, you must be a registered member first to use these functions. Click here to register first if you are not already a registered member.

What the Icons Mean:

	- Click this to be emailed whenever someone posts in that category.
	- How many views/replies an ad has received.
	- Click this when viewing an ad to send the person a message.
	- Click to send the link of the ad you are viewing to someone's email address.
	- Print the current ad being viewed.
	- Put the ad in your favorites to be viewed at a later time.
	- Click to edit an ad you have previously posted.
	- Click to delete the item you are viewing (your ad or webmail).
	- A new ad has been placed in the last three days.

Searching for Ads:
To search for an ad can seem cumbersome at first, but once you understand how it works, it is quite easy.  First, go to the category that you want to search for an ad in.  Second, click "Search" at the top of the page and it will bring up search specific fields for that category.  For example, if I want to search for a female penpal I would go to the female penpal category and then click "search."  After that I would put in the age range under "Advanced Search" to find a specific age group.  Most of the time you will be searching using the "Advanced Search" form.

Posting an Ad:
To post an ad is pretty straight-forward.  First login.  Once logged in, click "Create Ad."  After that is done you may begin to choose where you're ad is going to appear.  For example, if I am a 23 year old female wanting a penpal then I would select "Female Penpals" and then my age category (20-30).  Once you submit the information it will be viewable immediately, unless otherwise noted.

Viewing Ads:
To view an ad you can either find one by using the search tool described above or just browse through the ads manually.  Once you see a title that interests you, click on it (it's underlined) and it will show you the rest of the ad.  Once viewing the ad, please refer to the icon table above.

Editing Your Ad:
If you decide to change something on your ad for any reason it is very simple.  First click on "My Ads" at the top of the screen and it will bring you to a page that lists all ads that have been posted by you.  Go to the ad that you want to edit and click the edit button (refer to the icons above).  Change the information you want and submit it.

Your Favorites:
The favorites area is a place designed to let you gain easy access to ads that you wish to view at a later time.  It works much the same was as your web browser favorites.  First, find an ad that you like.  Second, click the favorites icon and it will tell you that it has been saved.  When you want to look at your favorites at a later time, click the "Favorites" link at the top of the page and it will list all the ads.

Auto Notify:
This is a feature if you want to be emailed anytime a visitor places an ad in a specific category that you want.  Once you click on the favorites icon anytime someone places an ad in there you will get an email.  To see all of your current auto notifies click "Auto Notify."

WebMail:
This is the area where all of your replies to ads and your messages will be stored.  You will be emailed if someone replies to an ad you have posted.  You can store/delete your messages in this area.
